Say Cheese! That is a strange way to start off a product description page. It says “cheese” but doesn’t claim that our new spread is actually made of “cheese” because it is not made of “cheese”. It has nothing whatsoever to do with “cheese” except that it is conveniently spreadable like one of those creamy spreadable “cheeses” and that you can use it in your cooking to make super creamy sauces or for baking cookies and “cheese” cakes. If you don’t find it in the supermarket with all the other Oatly products then have a look to see if it is hanging out with the other creamy “cheese” spreads— it’s the one with the good animal-free karma. Later.

Pretend you were a bagel and you didn’t like getting covered in dairy products all day long because you thought plant-based eating was way more progressive but everyone that likes bagels also likes cream cheese which means sooner or later you are going to get smothered in dairy products and then all of a sudden, there is a spread that is 100% plant-based, completely free from milk and soy, yet performs like the creamiest of cream cheeses. Imagine how happy you would be to be a bagel at that exact moment.

If there is anything negative, maybe it’s the flavor. Or rather, the lack of flavor. Who’s ever said "plain" is their favourite flavor? Nobody tries a wine and detects notes of cherry, chocolate and plain. On the other hand, you can’t dislike it. It doesn’t thrill your taste buds, but it doesn't bother them either. Bottom line: it's plain. And when you think about it, maybe it's the Swedish-est flavor ever.

Sometimes the very thing that makes a product amazing ends up here in the What might be less amazing section and you will probably not be surprised that the thing we’re talking about that’s both amazing and less amazing at the same time is…fat. Saturated fat, to be specific, which in this case is a mixture of rapeseed oil and fully hydrogenated coconut and rapeseed oils. This plant-based fat concoction of ours is amazing because it makes oat spread taste and perform incredibly close to a cream cheese, but it’s also amazing because it doesn’t contain trans fat the way partially hydrogenated oils do. Creamy Oat Spread Plain

So f***ing fraiche. Are we allowed to say that? I really hope so. Well actually you can&rsquo;t say that word because *** are unpronounceable but when you write them then it makes perfect sense. Anyway, we are excited to bring you this product. It&rsquo;s a lot like creme fraiche, but we used oats instead of creme to give you a different take on one of the most flexible ingredients in the modern kitchen. Basically, it will make whatever you want to make taste great (whatever that tastes like these days).

Water, rapeseed oil, fully hydrogenated vegetable oils (coconut, rapeseed), OATS 10%, potato starch, emulsifier (E472e), stabiliser (E407), acids (malic acid, lactic acid), calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate.

We took our time to make this right, and now it&rsquo;s here. Use it just like a creme fraiche without the creme. Performs professionally in both warm and cold dishes.

It’s a fraiche without the creme! There are probably a few million people out there who have been asking for this product for the last few years and now it’s here. We’ve worked really hard to make sure that our fraiche provides the same great performance as a traditional creme fraiche, but without the creme. It has got 15% of nicely composed fat with only 6,4% being saturated. Then there’s something else we can’t tell you about but you’ll know it when you taste it.

In order to give this fraiche a super creamy texture and rich taste we need to use a saturated fat from a vegetable based source. In other words we need a saturated non-animal based fat. Our search for this fat includes extended studies and analysis into every possible solution available to create the best quality product for you, from both a health and sustainability standpoint.

Creamy Oat Fraiche

We took one of the best products we make in Sweden and remade it entirely on organic ingredients for our friends in the UK.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s perfect for any type of cooking you&rsquo;d like to do, and contains quality fat which means that it is rich in unsaturated fat&sup1;, which if you don&rsquo;t know your fat means that it is the good fat instead of that bad fat, you don&rsquo;t want the bad fat.

Water, rapeseed oil*, OATS* 9%, emulsifier (rapeseed lecithin*), stabilisers (xanthan gum, gellan gum), sea salt, algae (Lithothamnium calcareum).

Store at room temperature for convenience. Made from organic oats from Sweden. And organic everything else. No matter what your chemistry professor tells you, organic is cool.
&sup1;This product is rich in unsaturated fat. Replacing saturated fat in the diet with unsaturated fat helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.

Basically you can use this product instead of cream to convert any of your favourite recipes into something great tasting and cool. This means you potentially have millions of ways to put this product to work for you (and generations of expert knowledge if you break out nan&rsquo;s recipes). The clincher though is that everything in this product is completely organic. Wait there is another clincher: you can store this product at room temperature, which means you can stock up with a few cases without sacrificing shelf space in your fridge.

This product tends to separate while standing for periods of time. That’s easy to fix, just give the package a good shake and it will be smooth and creamy once again. The reason for this is that the rules that apply to calling something organic limit the use of stabilizers. The additives that we use in this product are highly optimized and limited with each filling a specific function so that this product can be used in any application whether that be hot or cold.

If this product could have a slogan, it would go something like this: “Now everyone can enjoy the same sauce.” What do you think about that line? You are probably unconvinced by the crafty choice of words by the writer, so think of it like this: A bunch of friends or family members all sit down to dinner. One is lactose intolerant, two are vegetarian, one is vegan, one loves meat and the other doesn’t want anything to do with anything that comes from a cow. What do you do, make four different dishes? Exactly, imagine if there was a cooking cream that didn’t contain cream but that tasted just like it and could make things easier for you when you are aiming to please your guests who haven’t found a way to sync their priorities before arriving at your house for dinner. Well, there certainly is now.

Use instead of cream, just swap it one for one in your recipes. Super easy to use. You can heat it to a boil. Keep it refrigerated.

Try this product. Just take it home and put together something for your family. Don’t tell them that you swapped the old cream for Creamy Oat. We are pretty sure that they will not be able to tell the difference. Here are the tech highlights: 13% fat from rapeseed oil of which only 1.5% is saturated fat*. Before we end this, this product is super easy to use and it can be heated. Okay, we’re finished now.

There are some additives in this product and the reason for this is that we think it is important that the performance level of this product is as good as standard cream. Because if it is, then more people will understand that using it is not a compromise and that the natural benefits of oats and low levels of saturated fat* far outweigh the use of additives. However, you should know that we are constantly tinkering with the recipe of this product to find a way to make it just like it is today but without the additives. In the meantime, you should know that we have kept them to the absolute minimum.

Are you ever going to make a whipped cream?’ has been piling up in our social media comments and inboxes for years, so even though you are just a mild-mannered webpage reader who probably never asked about this product, you were thrown in with all the people who did, but you know how product webpages can be. The point is, thanks to our amazing food scientists, Whippable Creamy Oat is finally here! And it is awesome, whether it is or isn’t the one you’ve been waiting for.

It&rsquo;s pretty fun to enjoy good feelings about the future of the planet while you whip up this product as fluffy as you like and top your cocoa or waffles or strawberries, or pour it right from the box to make whatever you're cooking more creamy and delicious. It checks all the boxes for an amazing whipping cream, including the rarely checked, but extremely awesome "NO COW&rdquo; box.

Lots of things in life are less amazing. But in this product specifically, it might be less amazing that we had to include some ingredients which sound slightly terrifying (if you happen to be afraid of words that start with E, that is) but actually aren’t. See, they’re really here for good reasons. Without them, our Whippable Creamy Oat wouldn’t be whippable, ruining the entire name of the product, and we can’t have that. To be more specific, we had to get some (plant-based) saturated fats involved in order to provide the #1 effect people are looking for in a whippable product. We chose fully hydrogenated coconut and rapeseed oils, because unlike annoying partially hydrogenated oils, the fully hydrogenated kind do not contain trans fat, so you’re good.
