Look festive while flipping the bird to overconsumption!
The ReRuns merch experiment includes limited edition drops—a cool way to opt out of the perpetual wastefulness created by fast fashion in favor of one-of-a-kind upcycled items that support the voices of artists and the planet they live on.
For our cozy and holiday-y drop #2, we started with vintage sweaters that spent previous lives hanging around places like Philadelphia, Victoria, B.C., Tacoma and Milwaukee. Then we collaborated with awesome artists to turn each one into a singularly unique and totally festive work of upcycled sweater art that your friends might even look forward to seeing you in year after year after year.
Swipe through the photos below to find out a little about each of the talented artists who designed the preloved sweaters for this drop—all of whom were absolutely paid for their amazing work, of course.
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE AMAZING GIRLS AND GENDER-EXPANSIVE YOUTH WHO'LL SOON RUN THE WORLD AT THE LOWER EASTSIDE GIRLS CLUB!
If you happen to have heard about the rooftop produce garden being grown by young women and gender-expansive youth for plant-based after-school meals, or the environmental justice learning and activism being put into the world by the agents of change over at The Lower Eastside Girls Club, then you totally get why all proceeds from the purchase of these jackets will go directly to support them.
Oatly ReRuns Limited Edition drops happen like every two months. Didn't we already say that?
