Horchata latte

All You Need

25 graw white rice
1/2cinnamon stick
100 mlboiling water
250 mlOatly Barista Edition
10 gsugar
Double espresso
Ice

Tools

  • Saucepan
  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Something to preserve the rice liquid in
  • Spoon
  • Glass

To-Do List

  1. Wash the rice.
  2. Soak the washed rice and cinnamon in boiling water for 5 minutes or in not boiling water overnight.
  3. Add the soaked mixture to a blender with the Oatly Barista Edition and sugar.
  4. Blend on high speed until the rice and cinnamon stick are fully broken down.
  5. Strain the liquid into a glass full of ice.
  6. Top with a double espresso.
All that’s left to do is drink the sweet rice and cinnamon mixed with oat drink and espresso and accept the Horchata Latte for the international comfort drink it is.
