THE ORIGINAL LIQUID OATS!

The old and improved version of our first oat drink is great for everyday use because it can be used just like you would use milk from a cow while getting that plant-based creaminess vibe from oats. It has been fortified with vitamins (D2, riboflavin, B12), and minerals (calcium, iodine), has 1.5% fat, mostly from rapeseed, and the sugar is the oat's own. No dairy, no soy, no wordy packaging sides. Okay, scratch that last "no," but apart from that, we think this drink is just about perfect.

The classic remastered

If you've been buying this product since forever and wonder what's so new and improved about it, it's that it now works in your coffee and tea without separating and performs even better when cooking or baking, all thanks to an acidity regulator called dipotassium phosphate, if that sounds too much like chemistry class for you, just know that we never use any ingredient that isn't absolutely necessary or absolutely approved for consumption.

Hidden bonus track: Before opening, it can be stored in room temperature for a really long time.

  • How do you calculate the CO2e numbers on your products?

We gather data on greenhouse gas emissions from grower to grocer and put it through a platform called CarbonCloud that uses 20 years of research in the food-system field to crunch the numbers and get the final carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) number. When the counting and analyzing are done, an impartial verifier professional double-checks the calculations. Basically, our numbers are scrutinized by people who really know what they’re doing. How do we make our oat drinks?

Our oat base is just oats and water. But it’s what we do with those oats and that water that makes Oatly so special.
