Guajillo cold brew latte

All You Need

AmountIngredient
20 gguajillo syrup
  • 10 g dried guajillo chilis
  • 100 ml boiling water
  • 80 g sugar
  • A pinch of salt
100 mlcold brew
100 mlOatly Barista Edition
Ice

Tools

  • Glass
  • Spoon
  • Pot
  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Pan
  • Something to stir with

To-Do List

  1. Rehydrate the dried chilies in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Blend at high speed for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the chili mixture to remove all skin and seeds.
  4. Add the chili water and sugar to a pan over a gentle heat.Don't boil!
  5. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved, then remove from the heat.
  6. Let the syrup cool down.
  7. Add the guajillo syrup to a glass and top with ice.
  8. Add the cold brew and Oatly Barista Edition.
  9. Stir and drink.
You CAN swap the Guajillo's out for a different chili, BUT nothing too spicy, — I nearly blew my head off testing a habanero version.
