All You Need

150 mlOatly Barista Edition
40 mlchai concentrate(or one portion)
Lime & leaf cheong
  • 100 g limes
  • 2 g fresh kefir lime leaves(leave out if you can’t find)​
  • 100 g sugar
Ice

Tools

  • Glass
  • Bowl
  • Glass jar
  • Knife
  • Chopping board

To-Do List

For the lime & leaf cheong

  1. Sterilize a glass jar
  2. Wash and dry the limes (scrub with salt​ & sodium bicarbonate to remove wax)
  3. Remove the ends and thinly slice limes,​ removing any seeds
  4. Chop the leaves
  5. Massage the fruit, leaves​ and sugar in a bowl
  6. Layer the mixture in the sterilized jar​ pressing down to compress the slices
  7. Leave for 2–3 days shaking daily to​ make sure all the sugar is dissolved
  8. Store the cheong in the refrigerator​ for up to a year unopened

For the drink

  1. Add chai concentrate to glass
  2. Top with ice
  3. Add Oatly Barista Edition
  4. Finish with 1 tbsp syrup and 2–3 slices of lime from the cheong​
