Koji Caramel Hot Choc

All You Need

| 200 ml | Oatly Barista Edition |
| 30 g | vegan hot chocolate powder or flakes |
| 40 ml | boiling water |

For the koji caramel:
- Add koji paste and Oatly Barista Edition to a pan, whisk together over low heat
- Melt sugar in a new pan over medium heat
- Watch the sugar carefully, stirring occasionally to avoid burning
- When the melted sugar is a deep amber, reduce heat to low and add the warm koji-barista mix, whisking until smooth
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes then set aside to cool
For the drink:
- Drizzle a tbsp of koji caramel around the rim of your cup
- Add the hot chocolate powder/flakes, 1 tbsp of koji caramel and hot water to a cup, stir to melt the chocolate
- Heat the Oatly Barista Edition and pour over the chocolate mix
