Creamy Oat Spread Tomato Basil
Package design is a true art form and art needs no explanation, however product pages on websites need stuff to talk about so please humour us while we explain the package design of our Tomato & Basil creamy oat spread. The red and white signify that we’ve taken our amazing plain creamy oat spread (hence the white color) and added sun dried tomato (red) and basil (...okay, not a lot of green here, but that’s probably because this product has more tomato than basil and therefore the designer’s colour choice makes perfect sense). If you have tried the plain oat spread before, you’ll get it. Just think that one plus more flavour. If you have not tried the plain oat spread before, this is a creamy and spreadable tomato and basil flavoured spread that resembles soft cheese in consistency, except the “cheese” in “soft cheese” is plant-based.
What's Amazing
Someone (aka the really smart people in the product development department) has figured out how to make the Tomato & Basil creamy oat spread useful whether it is warm or cold, which means it is optimised for all kinds of delicious scenarios—for example, cooking situations. Full of animal products. NOT. Of course. You cannot be more plant-based than this.
Last but not least
Also available in green packaging for those who like garlic and cucumber and/or the color green.

What might be less amazing
So, because we want this spreadable spread to actually be spreadable, it contains saturated fat. Or rather, fully hydrogenated fat. Which is unsaturated fat that has been converted to saturated and should not in any way be confused with trans-fat.
Another thing that could end up here under What might be less amazing is if you, out of habit, grabbed everything to make a cheesecake with oat spread and didn’t notice this one is the red one and you ended up with a tomato and basil cheesecake. If so, our apologies. On the other hand, if you were looking for a cheese, tomato and basil cake, then bon appétit!
Where are the ingredients?
Since our ingredients often differs slightly between markets they are not available on the global site.
How do we make our oat drinks?
Our oat base is just oats and water. But it’s what we do with those oats and that water that makes Oatly so special.
