<p>Because the scheme is being reviewed now and the European Commission wants to hear what people think. <h3 class="h-toni-noveau-pro-xs-umlauts">4. Aren&rsquo;t you doing this just to sell more oat drinks?&nbsp;&nbsp;</h3>
<p>Yes. We want to sell more oat drinks to help fix the broken food system. But other brands of plant-based drink are also beneficial in mitigating climate change. <a href="../../../things-we-do/initiatives/schoolmilk/what-is-oatly-doing" target="_self">Read more</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="h-toni-noveau-pro-xs-umlauts">5. Are you sure that plant-based drinks are actually good for kids?&nbsp; &nbsp;</h3>
<p>Yep. Fortified plant-based drinks can of course provide minerals and vitamins of importance to children. For example, we fortify our Oatly products with calcium which is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, as well as vitamin D, vitamin B12, riboflavin. <p>Well&hellip; It&rsquo;s calcium and physical activity that is key, and fortified plant-based drinks usually contain around the same amount of calcium per 100 ml as cow&rsquo;s milk does. Also, we&rsquo;re not saying &ldquo;take cow&rsquo;s milk away from the EU School Scheme&rdquo;, we&rsquo;re saying &ldquo;give kids the possibility to choose fortified plant-based drinks&rdquo;! <a href="../../../things-we-do/initiatives/schoolmilk/food-and-health-for-children" target="_self">Read more&nbsp;</a></p>

<p>Our eating habits as children influence what we eat for most of our lives*.
