You know a drink must be good when a barista names it something this complicated. We’re not really sure what ‘Einspänner’ actually means, but we’ve been told it’s not as complicated to make.

All You Need

150 mlOatly Barista Lighter Taste
40 mlcold brewed hojicha
40 gblack sesame creamy top
  • 50 ml Whippable Creamy Oat
  • 8 g black sesame paste
  • 10 g agave syrup
Ice
Cold brewed hojicha (ingredients per portion):
AmountIngredient
2-3 ghojicha powder
5-10 gagave syrup(optional, to taste)
0,1 gsalt
30 mlcold water

Tools

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Whisk + bowl
    • or Blender
  • Spoon

To-Do List

For the cold brewed hojicha (1 portion):

  1. Sieve the matcha/hojicha into a bowl or cocktail shaker​
  2. Add all other ingredients​
  3. Whisk or shake vigorously for 30 sec​

For the cold brewed hojicha (multiple portions):

  1. Add all ingredients to a tall container​
  2. Blend with an immersion blender until​ there are no matcha lumps left​

For the drink:

  1. For the black sesame creamy top, ​ whip all ingredients together ​ to reach a scoopable thickness​
  2. Fill a glass with ice​
  3. Add Oatly Barista Lighter Taste​
  4. Top with hojicha (sweetened or unsweetened to taste)​
  5. Finish with the black sesame creamy top​
